Share the power of flowers with Lynchburg locals in need of beauty

Help us deliver flowers to folks in long term care facilities in the Lynchburg, VA area. Facilities include :

Runk & Pratt Leesville, The Elms, Heritage Green, Guggenheimer, Carrington, Accordius, Williams Home, Bentley commons, Memory wing at Westminster, Tate springs Health and rehab.

We are partnering in this project with long time friend of the farm and Lynchburg local, Jeff Evans. Jeff graduated from Virginia Episcopal School in 1979, and has been in the area most of his life. As his parents were aging the need for assisted living became inevitable. Over the years visiting his parents, he became aware that most residents of long term care facilities have very few visitors or outside contact. He is deeply passionate about helping these members of our community feel remembered , valued and cared for. Jeff believes in the power of the simple gift of a bouquet flowers to sooth loneliness and spread joy. He is taking on the huge role of delivering our flowers all around the city and we are grateful to help his idea “bloom” and grow the flowers for this project.
