Pollinators Are Essential To All Life On Earth.

In 2024, we will have native/pollinator friendly plants available in April and May along with a selection of cut flowers, herbs and other interesting plants. Nearly all of our plants are propagated and grown on our farm using no insecticides (particularly no neonicotinoids.) or synthetic fertilizers.

Why We Sell Native Plants

Sadly, every year global pollinator populations dwindle. If all the pollinators disappeared, our lives would be radically different. We want to do more than simply say we love the butterflies and honey bees; we want the farm to be a biodiverse oasis for all life including the people, the birds, the insects, and the soil microbes.

Our curated selection of plants are known food sources and/or larval hosts for many species of bee, butterfly, fly, and moth. These Central Virginia native plants will add a unique wild beauty to your natural space, while also making a positive impact on the environment.
